We are pleased to announce the creation of ITAM’s Computer Sciences Academic Division. This new academic entity marks a milestone in our institution, since it is dedicated to highlight the increasing importance of computing and artificial intelligence in all areas of human knowledge. 

The general objective of the Computer Sciences Academic Division is to encourage the deep comprehension and application of computing in diverse disciplines. We recognize that artificial intelligence, data analysis and programming are crucial skills that transcend traditional career boundaries. This is why we made the effort to integrate these skills in all of our academic programs. We seek to ensure that all of our undergraduate programs and disciplines are benefited from the technological advances and that all of our students have access to these tools and knowledge needed to succeed in a digital world. 

This endeavor is aligned with our vision of empowering our students to tackle contemporary challenges with an innovating and technological mindset. The Computer Sciences Division will impart specialized courses, workshops and research opportunities that will help the students to develop practical and theoretical abilities in crucial areas such as, machine learning, cybersecurity and data visualization.
