Students from the Law Undergraduate program at ITAM won second place (Runner-up) in the 7th AIAC PRE-MOOT, an event held to practice for the 20th Vis East Moot —sister competition to Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna— , that took place from march 10th to march 15th of 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The team was conformed by Julio César Corona Valencia and Miguel Ángel León Urzua, who got the Mohanadass Partnership Award as Runner-ups in the competition. With this achievement, part of the team representing ITAM is preparing for their arrival to the 20th Vis East Moot where they will meet with their classmates from march 19th to the 26th. In their preparation for this competition, the team was led by Luis Alberto King, professor of the Department of Law, Karla Fajardo and Fernanda Sánchez, both ITAM alumni.
