Anastacia Antonia López Sánchez, student of the Bachelor of Economics, participated in the 2021 National University Chess Championship and won the bronze medal in the Women's Lightning Modality.

The Championship was held in the city of Mérida, Yucatán and 93 outstanding chess players from 22 universities from all over the country participated. In the women's category within the Women's Lightning Modality, 41 of the best chess players in the country participated and Anastacia ranked third. Within the Classic Modality, Anastacia was positioned within the first 30 positions.
