We congratulate Mario Delgado, alumnus of the Economics Undergraduate Program at ITAM, for his appointment as the Secretary of Education for the 2024 - 2030 presidential term.
Mario Delgado has held different public charges in Mexico. Among his most remarkable roles are Director of Informatics and Statistics in the Public Security Secretary, from 2001 to 2004; Treasury Secretary, from 2006 to 2010 and Secretary of Education for the Federal District, from 2010 to 2012.
Mario Delgado wants to guarantee the access to a quality education for every Mexican, in every level, modality and place that is required.
