Like every year, the Quacquarelli Symonds company published the QS World University Rankings: Latin America & The Caribbean, in which ITAM was among the top three private universities in Mexico. 

QS World University Ranking based on nine main metrics:

1. Academic reputation: it measures the reputation of institutions and their programs by asking academic experts to nominate universities based on their subject area of specialization.

2. Faculty member citations: approximates the impact and quality of the scientific work done by the institutions, on average per publication.

3. Reputation of employers: the reputation of the institutions and their programs among employers is measured.

4. Articles by Faculty: evaluates the productivity of the university's researchers.

5. Student-faculty ratio: a measure of the number of academic staff an institution has to teach its students.

6. International research network: a measure of an institution's success in creating and maintaining research partnerships with institutions elsewhere.

7. Faculty with Ph.D. degrees:analyzes the proportion of faculty with Ph.D. degrees in relation to the overall faculty.

8. Web impact: analyzes the impact of an institution's online presence.

This achievement reinforces ITAM's commitment to educational quality and the integral formation of its students, consolidating its position as a leading institution in Mexico and the world.
