We congratulate Abraham Zamora, alumnus of the Economics Undergraduate Program at ITAM, in his recent appointment as the president of Sempra Infrastructure Mexico, an outstanding energetic projects developing company. This new role reflects Abraham’s remarkable career in the energy sector and his constant leadership.
Before his appointment, Abraham Zamora performed as senior vice president of corporate and public issues in Sempra, where he led key areas such as regulation, sustainability, attention to communities and corporate communication both in Mexico and the United States. Also, he is president of the Mexican Energetic Association and counselor of the Institute of the Americas, Council of the Americas, San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and member of the Advisory Board of the Center for U.S.-Mexico Studies at the University of California, San Diego.
Abraham Zamora has a solid academic formation. He has an undergraduate degree in Economics from ITAM and two master degrees: one in business administration and public policies from Columbia University and the second one in political economy from Essex University.
This appointment is an acknowledgement of his commitment and leadership in the energetic industry, besides his capacity to push strategic projects in Mexico and the US.
