Congratulations to Alfredo Vara Alonso, alumnus of our Undergraduate program in economics on his appointment as CEO of Banobras.
Alfredo Vara Alonso holds both a master in public and private management (MPPM) and a master in economics (M.A.) from Yale University. He has served as CEO of FHipo (Fideicomiso Hipotecario) and is one of the founding members of Vace Partners. He was awarded the “Mérito Profesional” prize in 2016 in the entrepreneurial sector by ITAM and its Alumni Association.
