On february 23rd, in compliance of the terms and conditions of the invitation to the Pedro Aspe Award to Academic Excellence, ITAM and the Masters Program in Applied Economics announced the winners of the 2023 edition. 

Since the 2010 generation, the “Pedro Aspe Award to Academic Excellence of the Masters Program in Applied Economics” is annually granted, with the objective of acknowledging the effort, dedication and outstanding performance of the two students with the highest average of their generation. 

This year, the first place was awarded to Guy Axel Ruiz Morales and the second place to Jordy Juvera Moreno, both alumni of the Economics undergraduate program at ITAM.

The Pedro Aspe Award to Academic Excellence will be awarded yearly to the alumni of the Masters Program in Applied Economics (MEAp) that had finished their curriculum in the year before the award ceremony and that have stood out because of their outstanding GPAs.
