Luisa Reyes Retana wins the Mauricio Achar Prize

Congratulations to Luisa Reyes Retana, alumnus of the undergraduate program in law, for winning the third issue of the Mauricio Achar Prize for her novel, Nos vemos en infiernillo.
The Mauricio Achar Prize is awarded by Random House and Gandhi bookstores in order to advance and promote the works of young authors in Mexican literature. Luisa participated in the contest under the pseudonym Lucía Ramírez Rodríguez beating out 410 participants.
Luisa Reyes Retana is the cofounder and editor of Sicomoro Publications. Moreover, she has a graduate degree in Comparative Law from Berkeley University.
