During the fourth edition of the ILAN Awards to Innovation from the ILAN Foundation, Israel Latin American Network, recognized and awarded the exceptional work of mexican projects with a positive impact. The winners of the 2023 ILAN Awards to University Innovation were announced, a parallel platform that recognizes and pushes projects of six of the most important universities, ITAM included. 

In previous editions, ITAM received this award in representation of EPIC's entrepreneur group, formed by Jayat Elena González Palomeras, alumnus of the Actuarial Science  and Mathematics undergraduate programs at ITAM, Joel González Gómez, graduate of the Economics Undergraduate Program at ITAM, and Ana Sofía Hillman, Food Engineer from the Iberoamerican University. They were awarded with the 2022 ILAN Awards to University Innovation.

The award to University Innovation is powered by ILAN Foundation (Israel + Latin American Network), which seeks to strengthen the links between Israel and latin american countries by recognizing and driving ideas and opportunities to innovate with social impact, created by university students.
