Georgina Kessel, ITAM alumna, appointed President of Scotiabank’s Board of Directors

Georgina Kessel Martinez, alumna of the Economics Undergraduate Program at ITAM, was appointed president of the Board of Directors of Scotiabank.
The Scotiabank Financial Group named Georgina Kessel the new president of their Board of Directors. Doctor Kessel is an ITAM graduate and has a doctorate in Economics from Columbia University. Besides being a part of Scotiabank’s board, Kessel is part of the governing board of the mining company Fresnillo. Likewise, she was president of the CFE governing board, president and member of the board of directors of PEMEX and Energy Secretary from 2006 to 2011.
