Dr. Arturo Aguilar Esteva assumes the position of co-director of the Master's in Economic Theory and the Doctorate in Economics

On January 15, 2022, Dr. Arturo Aguilar Esteva assumed the position of co-director of the Master's program in Economic Theory and the Doctorate in Economics. Likewise, Dr. Aguilar will work together with Dr. Levent Ülkü co-directing the academic programs.
Dr. Aguilar is an alumnus of ITAM for the Bachelor of Economics. He subsequently earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University. Arturo is an assistant professor of economics at ITAM, his research has been predominantly oriented to the areas of development, public policy, applied econometrics and labor economics. Dr. Arturo has published studies on agriculture and immigration and is also interested in the economics of education and research on immigration and gender issues.
