Antonio Sánchez Gochicoa wins Fray Andrés de Olmos Merit Award

Congratulations to Antonio Sánchez Gochicoa, who earned a bachelor’s degree in economics at ITAM, for receiving the Fray Andrés de Olmos Merit Award. The award is the top honor granted by the city government of Tampico to a person whose conduct as a humanitarian and a philanthropist and whose actions on behalf of the community are a model for others to follow.

Among other positions, Sánchez Gochicoa has been undersecretary of Urban Development and Housing at SEDESOL, executive director of BANOBRAS, treasurer of the National Institute of Public Administration, president of the governing board at Banca Cremi, chief administrative officer at the Ministry of Finance, and president of the Budget and Public Accounts Commission of the Chamber of Deputies.
